CHILDREN - Contact is Leigh Winter (kids@harvestalexandria.com)

  • NURSERY LEADS help the nursery to be a fun and safe place for our littlest members!  You will get to play with, hold, rock, and show God’s love to the children.

  • NURSERY HELPERS are the extra hands to help hold babies and play with toddlers.

  • HARVEST KIDS CLASSROOM LEADS have the privilege of leading the children through the various activities planned for the day (lessons are prepared ahead of time and sent to you earlier in the week).  The activities often include songs, crafts, a Bible story, and games.

  • CLASSROOM HELPERS are the people who make the classroom function! You get to help the teacher in any and every way. Teachers LOVE having you in the classroom!

  • There are a variety of additional areas where you could help the Children’s Ministry.  Some of these include special events, administrative tasks (ex. making copies, writing lessons, etc.), and bringing snacks.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY - Contact is Kris Wager (kris@harvestalexandria.com)

Women’s ministry focuses on creating deeper aspects to our faith with two solid pillars: Biblical spiritual depth and community.

WORSHIP and MEDIA - Contact is Kaitlyn Goergen (soundbooth@harvestalexandria.com)

The Worship, Sound, Lights, and Media teams share their talents and passion for God to help facilitate powerful worship experiences every weekend. Volunteers on these teams serve on stage, in the sound booth, or behind the scenes to create a God-focused, distraction-free atmosphere.

The WORSHIP TEAM helps to lead the congregation in worship. Team members share their musical ability as a singer or instrumentalist and also (more importantly) share their passion for God as it flows from their worship. Volunteers attend weekly practices as well as Sunday morning worship.

The SOUND TEAM mix the sound of the worship team to create a distraction-free sound and balance of the voices and instruments on stage.

The LIGHTS AND MEDIA TEAM works in cooperation with the Worship and Sound to create an atmosphere of worship during our services. Volunteers attend weekly practices as well as Sunday morning worship.

LIFE GROUP LEADERSHIPContact is Nancy Runge (nancyrunge@gmail.com)

Life Groups serve as a means to bring people together, fostering meaningful connections and facilitating spiritual development. Research indicates that the most effective way to grow spiritually is by having a small group of 4-7 friends within your church community with whom you can navigate life, challenge each other, and provide mutual support on a day-to-day basis.

Operating on a trimester schedule—Spring (January - May), Summer (June - August), and Fall (September - November)—our Life Groups are led by dedicated members of Harvest who are trained to guide and equip participants in their faith journey. These leaders are passionate about assisting you in your growth and helping you take the next steps in your walk of faith.

Additionally, we offer Hang Outs, one-time events that provide opportunities for individuals to connect with others in a more casual setting. To explore the upcoming groups and Hang Outs, be sure to check out our group finder and take the next step toward building meaningful connections and spiritual growth.
